Board room automation – Saudi Airlines catering

Saudi Airlines catering was established in 1981. And next 35 years was followed by rapid expansion in of organizations operations. As a part of development Saudi Airlines catering company moved to new building in Jeddah, KSA. Our task was to make Board Meeting room smart in the order to make meetings more effective and successful by using modern technology.

Our Solution

The Board Room was designed to show participants what the company can achieve and to remotely connect with other offices and clients.

To support that goal, COMCRAFTS installed 98” TV as main Display and 19 Table mounted Motorized Retractable screens with built in Microphones for each participant. Cisco was installed for Video conferencing and to support this we installed Sony Camera, to maximize the sound quality and Audio routing Biamp DSP was installed, Shure Microphone controller unit installed to enhance the sound from the microphones. Control 4 amplifier was installed to control output volume level for each speaker as required. To further enhance the usability Clickshare was provided to wirelessly display any windows, MAC OS or Android device.

To use the maximum functionality of each system and to provide a custom based interface for the user; Crestron Control System was installed to control full functionality of Cisco calling, Camera, TV, Retractable screens and Microphones, Loudspeaker, Lighting, Air Conditioner, Curtains and Access control.

Table top connectivity Box is also provided so that any participant can present from the laptop locally or remotely and also have the ability start making a conferencing call from his laptop by using the Board Room Equipment by connecting HDMI and USB cable.

A Touch screen was installed to control all the above functionalities.
